Personality:
Fairly serious individual, though he does enjoy using sarcasm every so often. He is not agitated easily and has an extremely high tolerance for ignorance and stupidity. If he cares about someone, he usually does not show it that much, and is known for having some trust issues. If you do manage to get close to him though, one way you know he does care about you is that he would protect you with his life, and becomes very protective of you when strangers or danger is near. He prefers the ice and snow over the warm weather because it freezes over the water, which he has a fear of because of a near death experience at flooding valley when he was young. He is incredibly intelligent, and can share many life lessons with you and stories of the past if you are willing to listen. Some of his stories are first hand experience as well, seeing as how he has lived for a little over a century. Some have been known to call him a bit of a philosopher, as he seems to love watching and analizing pokemon and human behaviour and figuring out why we act and do certain things. He loves to study the world around him. He is a very honorable, honest, and trustworthy pokemon. Although he is calm and collected most of the time, it would be wise not get him angry. When he is angry, he both talks and fights like a beast from hell. His many years on the Earth have given him the opportunity to learn fighting strategies and become an extremley skilled fighter. He has the bark, and the bite.

You can talk to him about almost any problem he has had in his life and he will not get too choked up about it, except for one. The death of his mother, who had died of old age at 416 years. He was very close to his mother, as she saved his life when he almost drown at Flooding Valley. If you ask him about his mother, you will usually see him become very stiff and have horrible, pained eyes.

History:
Cubex has had a fairly normal life except for an incident in Flooding Valley when he was very young that caused him to fear water. He had been chasing his mother across the field in a playful manner, when a sudden lightning storm started to rain down, which wasn't out of the ordinary considering the area they were in. Brutal, strong winds began to whip him around when he ran for his mother, knocking his small body into a deep flooded area from the day before. Every time he tried to get up to the surface for air, a wave would knock him back under. The storm was causing the flooded area to get deeper and bigger, Cubex flailing underneath it for just one breathe of air. He then went limp, and began to close his eyes and black out. But just before he blacked out, he saw his mother fight through the heavy waves and grab the scruff of his neck.

He woke up in the soft, wet grass at the edge of the field underneath an overhang from a cliff, his mother sleeping by his side. Both him and his mother were soaked and shivering. But Cubex wasn't just shivering from the cold. It was also from fear. Ever since then, he has had a fear of water. The storm he had endured turned out to be the worst storm of Flooding Valley of all time.
